It will not come as much of a surprise that the most popular page on the website is the Facebook Status Generator, a system that gives people the chance to ‘borrow’ any number of weird and wonderful status updates to pass of as their own, and contribute to the status generator with their own wacky thoughts. Well I am delighted to report that over the weekend the status generator achieved it’s 300,000th hit, which brings me great delight.
To celebrate this fact I have decided to offer 100% of the royalties that I receive from the book and website traffic to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
MSF is an international humanitarian aid organisation that provides emergency medical assistance where needed regardless of race, religion, politics or sex to populations in danger in more than 70 countries.
So for everyone that has purchased the book, be safe in knowing that your purchase has gone to make life a little easier for those suffering in the most inhumane circumstances.
And for that, I am deeply grateful to you…
One of the most fasinating aspects about all of this is how it has appealed to people from nearly every country in the world, and recently it has been receiving hits from nowhere… which I believe to be some crazy person on a ship in the middle of nowhere. So hello mate, hope its nice down there in the Indian Ocean?

Since it’s set up, this website has been doing fantastically well and has proved very popular, to the extent that at the weekend it reached the 100,000 hits mark, which is phenomenal for a 14 week old website.

212articles.com features this hilarious review of my book, which I think is another review that has been translated into a foreign language and then re-translated into English.

Mainly thanks to Thierry Henry’s handball in the Ireland v France World Cup Play-off, many people where searching for appropriate Status updates for their Facebook and Twitter accounts, which resulted in the website receiving exactly 2,300 hits in the 24 hours following the game.
Yesterday was the first time that this website had over 1,000 hits in a single day, which is a great achievement for a website that is not even three weeks old! The fantastic thing about all of this is that the hits came from all over the globe, and the site is increasingly receiving traffic [...]
This week alone the Status Generator has received over 5,000 hits, and this is made all the more impressive when we consider that this interest has come from every continent, and from places like Iran, the Phillippines, Ecuador, South Africa, and throughout North America and Europe.
Thanks everyone for your support, it is greatly appreciated!
